On Track to Jr. Worlds

I have been so fortunate to have such an amazing support system from my family, friends, coaches, and sponsors. They have helped me to achieve one of goals, to be selected onto the Junior National team and to represent Canada at the Junior Track world Championships in Aigle Switzerland this July.

The Junior Canadian Track Team is composed of 13 strong riders, 5 women and 8 men. We are sending two full Team Pursuit Teams (a women team has not been selected in years) and a mens Team Sprint Team. To my surprise and I'm sure many others, this year will be the first year a women's Madison will be a UCI world championship event.

We will be heading to Milton, Ontario right after Jr Road Nationals in Gatineau, Ontario. Pre worlds camp will start on the 2nd and go till the 15th, we will then be packing up and heading off to Europe!

I think this will be an incredible experience, and I look forward to building on friendships with my teammates and competitors.

I look forward to representing my country for the first time, I will wear the Canadian leaf loud and proud!
